Digital Slide Archive (DSA). DSA works via your VUMC ID for secure login and password access. This platform has all the slides just as they were organized on the Digital Image Hub. In addition to online viewing with a choice of different viewers, this platform allows for original slide file download that will allow you to view, share, or export on your own desktop.
Right now, the best software for viewing downloaded slides is Aperio ImageScope. This is PC only software. For Mac or PC, you can use QuPath. I recommend using QuPath for analysis on either platform for now. It is capable of doing a lot of very good analysis on its own. I make no representation as to how well each of these software packages work. Each comes with a users guide. Read them.
Aperio ImageScope will only work in a Windows operating system. Use VMware fusion found in your Application folder to start Windows, and then from Windows go to our histology website (www.duke.edu/web/histology). ImageScope should be loaded on your computer. If you need a copy, the ImageScope viewer is available for free from -imagescope-viewer.asp. Follow the directions to download the self-executable installation file to your computer. Once downloaded, launch the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. You can execute Aperio ImageScope on Windows XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 32-bit.
Thanks for your message. As far as I understand, there is no such option to download the image from eSM. Meanwhile, the scope of things that are possible with the WebScope might be restricted by (my) access level. An admin access might allow for saving image selections. I might be able to comment on that later.
This program uses the Matlab Runtime 2022b , the installer wil download the Matlab Runtime automatically, the zipfile contains the CIConvert executable only, so you have to install the Matlab Runtime yourself. 2b1af7f3a8
